Water disk:
Faraday waves
Vibrations are present everywhere in the universe, defining all things in motion. Sound is a medium that accomodates this phenomenon. I was curious about the interaction between sound and water, because water is highly sensitive to differences in sound. Water disk experiment is a visualization of different soundwaves, frequencies, volumes and melodies. The resulting patterns are called Faraday waves, emerging on the surface of a vibrating plastic plate on top of a speaker.
