Petrol gradually evolved during millions of years, from the extensive accumulation of marine organisms, and continuous geological processes. During the last two centuries, humans have been putting an end to its existence, because they have failed to spot its exponential exhaustion. The video work reflects on the formation and perpetual change of this natural resource, until there is no change left to occur, since petrol is being progressively wiped out from the Earth's surface, farther into the void of history.
