ISLN- Geography of Sounds, Shapeshifting Multiplicities, audiovisual digital environment
In collaboration with Italian musician Maria Isolina Cozzani, we created an audiovisual
experience and digital world that combines an audio composition and digital environment
based on a fictional world governed by sound, that defies the laws of physics:
We all constitute a primordial spoup, a cloud that beholds all the sound in possibility. This cloud contains the potential, the possibility of every sound, timbre, pitch, harmony, noise, rhythmic and melodic pattern. The saturation of the sound in space gradually leads to an explosion that generates a multiplicity of sound agglomerates. These agglomerates spread in the room, constituting four islands. After the explosion, a thick fog covers all the elements. With its gradual disappearing, the four islands start to reveal.
